Building Surveyor

Are you a recent graduate of an Architecture or Engineering program? Planit is hiring a full-time Building Surveyor. You will be responsible for measuring and point cloud scanning buildings, collecting accurate as-built data and developing draft CAD plans on a tablet PC. Requirements:

Training in and experience using AutoCAD and Revit (possessing a college-level diploma in an Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering program or, University Degree in Architecture or Engineering) and, be able to quickly learn how to use other software products

Knowledge of various measuring standards including ANSI / BOMA and SIOR is an asset

Must enjoy working in the field the majority of your time. This role requires good physical stamina.

Successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and able to deliver highly accurate products

You must have a very positive attitude, be committed to delivering great customer service and willing to take on any challenge

The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a car that can be used for local travel; travel is compensated.

You must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel out of town for periods of up to two weeks.
