To champion this growth, we are recruiting a sales executive to participate in and lead our sales and business development initiatives.

The candidate will report to the President in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The role will be a hybrid home / office arrangement and will involve customer meetings across North America.

Responsibilities:

The primary focus of the role is to ensure that annual sales targets are achieved. You will do that by;

  • Leading/growing our sales team which currently consists of two other full-time team members,
  • Actively meeting with key clients and prospective customers and selling Planit solutions,
  • Leading the preparation of complex proposals and overseeing RFP responses,
  • Creating forecasts and budgets for annual sales,
  • Developing sales, marketing, and business development programs that may leverage external resources and other Planit employees,
  • Staying aware of new trends and technologies in the market,
  • Building relationships throughout the industry,
  • As a member of Planit’s Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic vision and leadership of the company.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is an experienced, energetic, and consultative salesperson with proven ability and experience as a motivational leader. Other skills include:

  • Superb verbal and written communication and excellent negotiation skills,
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, property / facility management industries is a definite asset,
  • Ability to analyze and source alternate channels / methods to generate leads and to increase sales and Planit’s brand awareness,
  • Passion for working with and explaining disruptive technologies and workflows,
  • Willingness to travel.
